Lab Overview:

This lab explored the principles of spacecraft attitude sensing and control using a physical rate gyro and reaction wheel system. By manually rotating the gyro assembly and observing the resulting torques and precession, the experiment demonstrated how gyroscopic motion and Euler’s rotational equations govern spacecraft attitude dynamics. The results illustrate how sensors and actuators work together to measure rotational motion and control spacecraft orientation
